The Blog
This blog was set up primarily for support and collaboration between those members of Scottish Web Folk (those involved in web development and management from all the higher education institutions in Scotland) who use the TERMINALFOUR SiteManager enterprise content management system.
The Bloggers
- Duncan Ireland is the Internet Officer at the University of Strathclyde. He has been working with T4 since May 2004, administering a gradually increasing proportion of http://www.strath.ac.uk/ through the tool with his colleagues. Previously he worked with Scottish Amicable (later Prudential) using the MediaSurface CMS. A regular attendee at IWMW since taking up his Strathclyde role he has also been involved with the Scottish Web Folk regional offshoot of the main conference series. He hopes this blog will increase the amount of searchable peer-to-peer support for users of the increasingly popular T4 CMS.
- Gareth J M Saunders is the Assistant Information Architect/Web Manager for the University of St Andrews, of which he is an alumni (BD Hons, 1993). He has been working with SiteManager since it was first installed in December 2006. Gareth’s main interests lie in information architecture, XHTML, CSS and blogging, regularly contributing to at least five WordPress-powered blogs including this one.
- Steve Evans is the University Web Manager for the University of St Andrews, of which is also an alumni. He has been working with SiteManager since it was first installed in December 2006.
- David Mackland is a Senior Information Specialist at the University of Abertay, managing the central web team. Amongst his many roles is administering SiteManager since it was first installed in June 2009.
